Creative Curriculum in Primary Schools – Artis Foundation – (CPD)

CPD Session Objectives or Leaning Outcomes:

  • To use the performing arts to explore creative ways of accessing the National Curriculum
  • To take part in activities that encourage engagement and focus
  • To explore ways of creating ‘wow’ moments in class
  • To discuss ways of bringing creative techniques into the participant’s specific delivery

CPD Session Leader/ : Artis Specialist Martha Shrimpton – Artis Mentor & Specialist

Martha Shrimpton is an actor-musician, theatre facilitator and presenter. After graduating from East 15 Acting School, she went on to perform a sell-out run of her début show Café Ruse at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival taking her on to working for many touring theatre companies across the UK. Martha has worked in Arts Education for over 15 years and loves to encourage and inspire young people through drama and music. She is a passionate practitioner and specialist for Artis and other arts education organisations and community projects across the country.
