Artistic Exploration and Expression for Teens

These workshops are an opportunity for teens to expand their knowledge and gain confidence in trying new ways of working. Through a combination of short creative drawing challenges and self-driven personal projects we will explore the effects we can achieve with a range of drawing media, papers and some more unusual materials, taking inspiration from modern and historical art.

The outcome of these workshops may vary from fully formed stand-alone artworks to a collection of sketches and experiments that may inform your future practice. We will draw, paint, collage and more in response to others’ art and our own, with an option to bind all your artworks together into a small sketchbook to keep them together. All you need to bring is yourself, your creativity, and a desire to explore!

While the workshops can be attended as one-off sessions, they will build on each other, allowing participants to continue developing an idea or artwork across multiple sessions.
