Home Education Day: Rocks & Fossils
Thurs 15th May – (5-11) – 11.00-2.30 – £6.50
How are fossils formed? Where do rocks come from? We’ll be exploring these questions with this interactive workshop for home-educating families! Become a geologist with our Rocks & Fossils workshop: learn how to identify different types of rock, handle real fossils, make a fossil of your own to take home and more! This workshop will begin with a short group discussion: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive promptly for 11.00 am. This workshop is recommended for children aged 5-11 years but all ages and levels of ability are welcome.
