Buckinghamshire Art Society Young Artists Award

Buckinghamshire Art Society is again looking for talented young artists to enter our Young Artists Competition. The three winning works and ‘highly commended’ will be exhibited at our Autumn Exhibition to be held at Wendover Memorial Hall. This is an excellent opportunity for a young artist to show their work at a professionally hung exhibition with experienced artists from across the county. Submitted images will be featured on the Buckinghamshire Art Society website.
Please inform all interested students between the ages of 16 to 20 years about the competition and the opportunity to win the following
First Prize. £200 cash
Second Prize. £100 cash
Third Prize. £50 cash
We will accept 2D and 3D work suitable for display. Paintings, handmade prints, mixed media and sculptural items are acceptable but no digital prints or photography.
- Students can only submit one piece of work.
- Students must be aged between 16 and 20 years.
- Entries will need to be completed by a parent/guardian for students under the age of 18 who apply independently.
- Artist’s name and image will be featured on the BAS website after the exhibition. Please confirm in your entry if you are happy for this information to be on our website.
The deadline for entry is Friday 10th October

Shortlisted entries will be announced week beginning 13th October 2025
Shortlisted work must be delivered to Wendover Memorial Hall on Friday 31st October by 12 noon.
Exhibition Opening and Award Ceremony on Friday 31st October.
