As a result of feedback from members of our Creative and Cultural Champions Network we are producing our first Cultural Education CPD and Networking Conference this year.

The event will take place on Wednesday, the 3rd of July 2024, from 9 am – 5 pm at Buckinghamshire New University, Queen Alexandra Rd, High Wycombe HP11 2JZ.

The event will see us bring together national and local partners from the creative, cultural, heritage and cultural education sector to deliver keynote speeches, CPD sessions, short talks, networking opportunities and pre-bookable 1-2-1 time with a range of organisations.

There will be an opportunity for cultural partners, organisations, artists, and practitioners looking to work with educators and educational settings to have a stall at the event to set out their services.

There will also be an opportunity for educators to book 15 minute slots to have a more detailed discussion with you.

We have opportunities for you to run CPD and short talk sessions. The CPD sessions are 45 minutes long and short inspirational talks 15 minutes.

We will have 3 breakout rooms:

  1. Primary Education – This will be for sessions aimed at supporting cultural education in Primary schools
  2. Secondary Education– This will be for sessions aimed at supporting cultural education in secondary schools
  3. Special Educational Needs and Disability – This will be for sessions aimed at supporting educators in delivering cultural education to young people with special educational needs, disabilities, or challenging circumstances and/or behaviours
