Vache Baroque: ‘A History of Sound’: in-school music show and workshop for Year 5
A 90-minute show and workshop in your school, delivered by 4 professional musicians, which offers children a chance to hear live musical performance; learn about music notation; play different instruments; explore the physics of sound waves; and learn about historical figures in Western music.
So far, we have performed to over 1200 children across Brent, Slough and Buckinghamshire. Teachers have said: ‘I can’t emphasise enough how fantastic this workshop is’…’exceptional and hilariously funny. Everything was so well-rehearsed and presented in a very humorous and informative manner.’
Free to state schools, and offered to private schools for a fee.
Aimed at Year 5; we can perform to 30-45 children at a time, and can offer two shows and workshops in a day.
