Young Mental Health Champions – Community Group


Brighter Futures Together is running the Young Mental Health Champions programme for young people aged 13–17 at Princes Risborough Youth Centre open to any young person who lives or study in Bucks

The programme supports young people to develop their understanding of mental health, gain valuable qualifications, and contribute to improving local services.

Participants will:

  • Achieve a Level 2 qualification from the Royal Society of Public Health
  • Complete Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training (accredited by MHFA England)
  • Take part in mystery shopping to provide feedback on local mental health services
  • Support mental health awareness among their peers
  • Free to take part

Fortnightly sessions in Princes Risborough will run from 1st July until December, mostly on Monday afternoons after school with some sessions in school holidays.
