Free Practical Workshops for Specialist & Non-Specialist
Primary & Secondary Teacher
I would like to introduce myself as the Head of Art at The Royal Grammar School. We are excited to be able to invite interested primary and secondary teachers, both specialist and non-specialist to join our free practical workshops designed to provide tips, resources and hands-on experience, bringing art and creativity into classrooms across subjects, departments and schools. Our aim is to give teachers the confidence to implement new media into their teaching practice.
Teachers are welcome to register for one, several or all of the sessions. Drinks and biscuits provided.

- Thursday 21st May : Workshop 1; Pottery; Slab, Coil, Relief & Texture Techniques
- Wednesday 3rd June: Workshop 2; Plaster Carving & Casting Tips and Techniques
- Tuesday 9th June: Workshop 3; Pottery; Glazing, Firing & Easy Techniques
- Thursday 18th June: Workshop 4; The Art of Monoprinting
- Tuesday 23rd June: Workshop 5; Multiple Ways to use Oil Pastel in the Classroom
