Red Kite Housing Public Art & green space makeover
Chiltern Rangers and Decreate designed a big transformative project for Linchfield in Totteridge: loads of caretaking with volunteer groups including, community planting, nestbox making, signs & interpretation boards, and lots of public artworks made and installed!
The 4 big artworks were spraypainted prior by Dan and were based on local wildlife scenes in Autumn, WInter, Spring and Summer. The visiting schools and business groups enjoyed the DIY SOS type makeover/installation days, but we were cursed with rain! Other local artists Colourful Kat Gaska (Chic Signs) and Rory Clark were also commissioned to add poetry and signwriting Art to mini-garden galleries and Wild areas.
